Membership How do I become a VIP member? Simply go to any of our 8 locations and complete a membership agreement. You will need a credit or debit card and a photo ID. Can you describe your VIP Membership?
Billing Questions Can I change the automatic billing date? No, the draft date is the 1st of every month for all Pacific Sun Tanning VIP Memberships. If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, charges will be processed the following business day. Why was I charged an additional $5.00 Fee? When the dues are ran on the 1st of each month, may times credit cards on file will decline for various reasons. We do not receive reason codes for why a decline was issued by the credit card company. For all declines, a $5.00 fee will be assessed. How do I resolve a membership billing issue or submit a question? Please email our VIP department VIP@pacificsuntanning.com or leave a message at 775-826-4537 ext 22. Our VIP customer service hours of operation are Monday—Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm central standard time. If you reach our recording, please leave a message, we return all calls and emails within 1 business day. What is the last day of the month to make changes to my account? To Freeze your VIP Membership, the last day to make a change to your account is 5 days prior to the last day of the month. To Upgrade or Downgrade your VIP Membership, the last day to make a change to your account is 5 days prior to the last day of the month. To Update your credit card billing information on file, the last day to make a change to your account is 5 days prior to the last day of the month. To Cancel your VIP Membership, we must receive notice 30 days prior to the next billing date, which is always the 1st of every month. Why does my membership show as terminated when I didn't cancel? Any account that is NSF or declined 2 or more times is considered abandoned. The computer system automatically terminates the membership. The months do not have to be consecutive. If this happens, please contact our VIP department to resolve the issue. How do I request a refund for charges that I believe are incorrect? Once you contact us via email at VIP@pacificsuntanning.com, or by phone at 775-826-4537 ext 22, we will evaluate your account based on our information on file and the information and documentation that you have provided. In the event that we have failed to make an adjustment for the documented account changes you submitted, you will receive a refund for charges within 7 business days. How do I change the credit card that my VIP is being billed to? Changes can be made in the following ways: Freeze VIP What does it mean to Freeze my VIP Membership? Our VIP Freeze program allows you to put your monthly VIP Membership on Freeze status for as long as you would like. During that time, we will bill your account just $5 a month, which, in turn, accumulates in your Pacific Sun Tanning account as a credit for you to use later on lotions, upgrades or other products. This Freeze will hold your VIP Membership status until you are ready to return to tanning. Accumulated salon credit is non-refundable and cannot be applied to any monthly VIP Membership dues or reactivation fees. How can I Freeze my VIP Membership? You can enroll in the Freeze program by completing a Change Notice Form available online or at any Pacific Sun Tanning location. Can I tan while my VIP Membership is frozen? Yes, you can purchase any other type of tanning package or promotion that we offer. What will I have to pay when I resume tanning? That will depend on when you return to tan. Your VIP Membership status will be reactivated based upon a pro-rated re-activation price, which is determined by the level of membership you have and the day you reactivate your VIP Membership. Will my monthly membership fees increase when I resume tanning? No, your monthly membership rate stays the same upon reactivation of your account. Cancel VIP How can I cancel my membership? You may cancel your membership by submitting the Change Notice Form. There is a 30 day cancellation policy on all VIP Memberships. What do you mean by a 30 day notice? To cancel your VIP Membership, we must receive notice 30 days prior to the next billing date, which is always the 1st of every month and is a full month’s dues. I canceled my membership 30 days in advance, but I was still billed for the next month’s membership fee! We regret that this occurs unintentionally once in a rare while. Our VIP customer service hours of operation are Monday—Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm central standard time. Why is my VIP Membership issue not able to be handled in the salon by a staff member? Unlike most memberships, the VIP Membership is a reoccurring charge and therefore has “sensitive” financial and processing information. We handle that at the corporate level to ensure you the highest level of privacy and service. |
